Easy DIY Christmas Crafts that almost anyone can do

Christmas is coming up, in about a month, and if you're anything like I am, you want to be able to make something for your friends and family rather than buy the same old thing at the store. It's not that the stuff in the store isn't cool, it's more about being able to create something for your friends or family. But of course, when you immediately think of making stuff for Christmas for your friends and family, you're thinking all about food. Let's just skip over food incase someone has food allergies, celiacs, gluten intolerance, or may not like the food you give them.

Here are some of the coolest DIY Christmas crafts that make great Christmas presents. By the end of this blog post, you should have a new idea about what you can make for your friends, family and coworkers.

Shadow Boxes

When it comes to shadow boxes, this tutorial has a great idea for Christmas time, but in all reality, you can make a shadow box for any time of the year.

Snowy Tealight Holders

These tealight holders remind me a lot of something my grandma would have made for the holiday, and they're really easy to make! What seems even cooler to me is imaging the look on the person's face when you tell them you made it for them!

Elastic Bookmarks
The is DIY craft goes well with the book-related gifts, but instead of buying a gift you're making one all by yourself! Imagine your niece having her very own My Little Pony bookmark, or your mom's favorite animal on a bookmark! Yep you get it, bookmarks are cool!

Dish Towel and Utensil Set

Maybe you're not overly crafty, but want a cute little project to show someone that you care. I actually love this idea. It's cute, easy, and isn't crafty at all! Did I mention that all of the stuff to do this project is at the Dollar Tree? Even cooler right?

Memory Jars

This idea is a great idea to show someone you care, especially if you have some photos with the person you're giving the jar to. If you don't have memories, you can always go with a theme as well. I have a few ideas for a couple jars that I'd like to have sitting around my apartment. Which I'll explain eventually.

Granite Looking Coasters

This was suggested to be used as a children's craft, but I'm a bit apprehensive to even say it's a kids craft because of the fact that you'll be using alcohol and fire. It's a pretty cool craft anyway you look at it. P.S. you don't have to make coasters, I've heard of people putting the tiles together to make a cool piece of decor for their wall, whatever you want to do with these is up to you.
These are beautiful! Faux granite coasters make a gorgeous handmade gift (perfect for Mother's Day or Christmas!), but they're so easy to make kids can do it! Quick, cheap, inexpensive DIY gift.

Tealight Snowmen

These are so easy to make and so adorable. I want to make a whole army of snowmen! I may even become the Oprah of the Christmas craft world, "Everyone gets a snowman tealight!" Okay maybe I won't be that crazy, but they are cute right?
These tea light snowman ornaments are really easy to make and they look ADORABLE! Turn on the tea light and the "flame" becomes the snowman's carrot nose!

Snowmen and Penguin No-Sew Sock Crafts

Who doesn't like snowmen and penguins around Christmas time? Both of these crafts by Easy Peasy and Fun made me so excited to make some DIY sock crafts for people for Christmas. There's nothing difficult about these little guys, and usually, the stuff to make the crafts is easy to obtain (if I didn't have them already).

When you thought your crafts couldn't get easier. You were wrong, this craft is extremely simple and it requires yarn, pins, tape, cardboard and wrapping paper! It's a great way to put boxes and old wrapping paper to good use!
