The Christmas Challenge For Next Month, join me if youwant

December/Christmas blogging challengeStartin the first of December, alongside my regular blog posts, I'm going to be doing the Christmas Challenge below. It's time for me to get in the Christmas spirit, and hopefully, have others join in on the experience. I'm going to hopefully get tons of people in on the Christmas Challenge and hope others want to follow along.

To My Fellow Bloggers
I have decided that if any of my fellow bloggers want to blog about their Chrismas Challenge, I will post a quote and a link to your blog as well. So that everyone gets to share about how much Christmas means to them while doing exactly what we all love to do. Blog.

There's so much to learn
I really love reading things like these challenges, especially when it comes to other bloggers or people who celebrate Christmas. We all have a different way of doing things and I like to see what these different things are when it comes to other people. I really want to learn a lot about what goes on in other places so that I can learn, while other writers and people around me learn.

It'll Help Pass the Time
Either if you're doing this challenge alone, following along with me, or getting your child in on the challenge, you'll have something to help pass the time until Christmas. It keeps us all busy and entertained until the day arrives.

So Who's With Me?
If you want to join me for this challenge let me know. It's never too late to sign up. Even if you are signed up, you don't have to every single day! Just email me the task with the corresponding date an that's it!

Easy DIY Christmas Crafts that almost anyone can do

Christmas is coming up, in about a month, and if you're anything like I am, you want to be able to make something for your friends and family rather than buy the same old thing at the store. It's not that the stuff in the store isn't cool, it's more about being able to create something for your friends or family. But of course, when you immediately think of making stuff for Christmas for your friends and family, you're thinking all about food. Let's just skip over food incase someone has food allergies, celiacs, gluten intolerance, or may not like the food you give them.

Here are some of the coolest DIY Christmas crafts that make great Christmas presents. By the end of this blog post, you should have a new idea about what you can make for your friends, family and coworkers.

Shadow Boxes

When it comes to shadow boxes, this tutorial has a great idea for Christmas time, but in all reality, you can make a shadow box for any time of the year.

Snowy Tealight Holders

These tealight holders remind me a lot of something my grandma would have made for the holiday, and they're really easy to make! What seems even cooler to me is imaging the look on the person's face when you tell them you made it for them!

Elastic Bookmarks
The is DIY craft goes well with the book-related gifts, but instead of buying a gift you're making one all by yourself! Imagine your niece having her very own My Little Pony bookmark, or your mom's favorite animal on a bookmark! Yep you get it, bookmarks are cool!

Dish Towel and Utensil Set

Maybe you're not overly crafty, but want a cute little project to show someone that you care. I actually love this idea. It's cute, easy, and isn't crafty at all! Did I mention that all of the stuff to do this project is at the Dollar Tree? Even cooler right?

Memory Jars

This idea is a great idea to show someone you care, especially if you have some photos with the person you're giving the jar to. If you don't have memories, you can always go with a theme as well. I have a few ideas for a couple jars that I'd like to have sitting around my apartment. Which I'll explain eventually.

Granite Looking Coasters

This was suggested to be used as a children's craft, but I'm a bit apprehensive to even say it's a kids craft because of the fact that you'll be using alcohol and fire. It's a pretty cool craft anyway you look at it. P.S. you don't have to make coasters, I've heard of people putting the tiles together to make a cool piece of decor for their wall, whatever you want to do with these is up to you.
These are beautiful! Faux granite coasters make a gorgeous handmade gift (perfect for Mother's Day or Christmas!), but they're so easy to make kids can do it! Quick, cheap, inexpensive DIY gift.
It's always Autumn

Tealight Snowmen

These are so easy to make and so adorable. I want to make a whole army of snowmen! I may even become the Oprah of the Christmas craft world, "Everyone gets a snowman tealight!" Okay maybe I won't be that crazy, but they are cute right?
These tea light snowman ornaments are really easy to make and they look ADORABLE! Turn on the tea light and the "flame" becomes the snowman's carrot nose!

Snowmen and Penguin No-Sew Sock Crafts

Who doesn't like snowmen and penguins around Christmas time? Both of these crafts by Easy Peasy and Fun made me so excited to make some DIY sock crafts for people for Christmas. There's nothing difficult about these little guys, and usually, the stuff to make the crafts is easy to obtain (if I didn't have them already).

When you thought your crafts couldn't get easier. You were wrong, this craft is extremely simple and it requires yarn, pins, tape, cardboard and wrapping paper! It's a great way to put boxes and old wrapping paper to good use!

Do you have a winter bucket list yet? I want to try these 20 things this winter!

What plans do you have this winter? I loved my summer bucket list, and even though I didn't finish a lot of the bucket list, I am happy for what I accomplished. I didn't have a fall bucket list and wish I did, it's okay though, I'm going to work on a winter bucket list.

My Winter Bucket List

1. Read at least 5 books from my latest free book haul: Five books is going to be easy, but I didn't want to overwhelm myself. I don't know what books I'm going to choose yet, but I want to pick five of them to read.

2. Make another video for my blog, and possibly go live on my Facebook page: Both of these items go together. I've always wanted to go live, but I've been nervous. I'm not going to make huge plans about what kind of video or live feed that I'm going to do, but I'd like to get out of my shell a little more.

3. Attempt my Aldi 24 hour challenge again: I didn't do my 24-hour challenge last time, but I plan on actually doing it this time. It actually takes some planning to do a challenge like this. I'm even going to make it a little tougher, I'm not going to be able to have my favorite Aldi food. I love their Gluten-Free Mac and Cheese.

4. Make a snowman: As long as we get snow again, I want this winter, I want to make a snowman. If I can't make one because there's no snow. I'm going to improvise and try making one out of clay or something.

5. Play with clay: The last task reminded me how much I miss playing with clay. I want to buy some of the self-hardening clay and letting myself run wild. There's some tutorials on YouTube that I want to try.

6. Focus on my music blog a bit more: I have yet to really write on my side blog, a music blog. I want to write on it a bit more and share my love for music with others. If it's going to be cold outside I could at least listen to music and talk about music!

7. Try snow painting: I never did snow painting before I'm sure the kids would enjoy it as well. Of course, if it doesn't snow I won't be doing this at all. But it does look cool. It looks pretty easy, the internet says all you need is some water and food dye.

8. Try doing yoga: Doing yoga sounds like fun. I've tried it in the past, but I stopped after the first time trying. I liked it, I didn't realize how much of a workout yoga really is.

9. Do an exercise challenge: I'm going to attempt my first round soon. It's going to be a lot like those Facebook posts, you know, the "For every like I get I'll do 5 push-ups" thing, but I'm going to do it a bit differently. I'm going to have it running on my Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The difference is that I'm choosing different exercises for each social site. I need to think out how I want to do this, and it'll be my monthly challenge. I may even extend the idea out and change it every month if I like the exercise challenge.

10. Write a short Christmas story: I want to write a Christmas story or two, possibly geared towards children. I think it'd be a load of fun writing a Christmas story or two. My husband's uncle urged me to write children's books a few years ago, and I don't know why I haven't attempted it yet.

11. Loom knit a new scarf: I like loom kitting and have made a scarf in the past for my 11 year old, and never made one for myself yet. I plan on finding the same colors as the 4th Doctor's Scarf.

12. Go to the library: I need to go to the library more often. There's a book that I really want to pick up to read anyway. If the weather's nice enough, I can even walk to the library, it isn't that far from my apartment.

13. Find a gluten-free cookie recipe and try it out: I tried new foods over the summer, making homemade gluten-free cookies sounds like fun. I may just end up being gluten-free chocolate chip cookies, but I haven't had gluten-free chocolate chip cookies that were homemade so it'd be fun.

14.  Have a classic Disney movie marathon: Now that we have Disney+, I saw a lot of Disney movies that I haven't seen since I was a child. It'd be nice to watch some of my favorite Disney movies from my childhood.

15. Take a couple new online courses: In conjunction with starting school, I want to do a few free online courses. As soon as I narrowed down my choices, I'll try to update everyone on what courses I'm taking this winter.

16. Make a deco mesh wreath: I've been wanting to make a wreath for some time. My grandma made wreaths when I was younger. It's a great way to keep her memory alive. The deco mesh wreaths look pretty easy to make.

17. Go on a couple digital vacations: I'll explain more about digital vacations next week sometime, but I've been dying to go on a digital vacation for a while now. All I need is Google Maps, Pinterest and a list of cities to visit this winter.

18. Take winter photos: I wanted to take more summer photos when summer hit, but Michigan winters are still beautiful. There are places to visit and things to take photos of, when it's not as cold out.

19. Make gluten-free friendship bread: Back when I was younger, my mom was given the recipe to make Amish friendship bread. It's almost like a chain letter, but instead, people would give their friends the starter ingredients and they'd add to it. I found the recipe on Lynn's Kitchen Adventures, and been wondering if I could even make a starter, and pass the love of being gluten-free to other people.

20. Write up my New Years Bucket List: I know, it sounds almost silly to start a New Years' bucket list, but I want to think of things I can do all year long. It's better than writing New Year's resolutions, I don't have to worry about sticking to eating better or any resolution, I just want to start a bucket list and that's it.

Favorite 5: My favorite tips for writing your first book

It's hard to imagine that I'm actually writing my first book. I've been holding off on it for a long time, and a bit apprehensive about writing my first book. I'm sure a lot of people are a bit nervous to write their first book. Writing a book, that you're willing to share with others, is a huge step, but it doesn't have to be. I've learned a few tips that have helped me learn to be more at ease with my writing, and hopefully, other people will find them useful.

Tip 1: Ignore the people who say you can't do it.

This is huge. It's why I've been apprehensive about writing stuff. I've had people read some of the stuff I've written and they hated it. I stopped and told myself, maybe writing wasn't my forte, but as time dragged on, I realized I love writing, and I can't let a few people who didn't like my work stop me. There's other people in the world that may enjoy what I write.

Tip 2: Allow the writing to flow as it does

Writing is like a river if you don't allow it to flow and find something to stop the flow, it's going to get backed up. When I'm writing, especially my first draft or just free writing in my book a bit, I don't worry about editing, I let the story unfold in my mind. Especially when it comes to dialogue, people don't usually edit what they're saying in midsentence.

When allowing your writing to flow, never force it. Forcing it leads to a mess. I've noticed if I force myself to write, I don't feel the emotions that my characters are feeling anymore, then in a sense, I lose that spark.

Tip 3: When going back over your writing ask your self if you'd read what you'd written and how you'd actually want the book to go if you were reading it.

After you allow your writing to flow, and you're ready to work out the kinks a little bit, I ask my self two important questions. The first question is if I walked into somewhere like Barnes & Noble or any book store if I read a page or two before buying the book if I'd actually read it. If I think I'd actually read it, I leave it be, if there's some reason that I didn't enjoy what I wrote, I either scrap it or ask myself the second question. If I was a reader, which way would I want my reading to go. That gives me a basis if I'd want to scrap it or not. Just be remember, you can go in the opposite direction that you'd want to go to. There are many books I've read and they didn't go the way I wanted them to, but they were awesome.

Tip 4: Find a writer buddy

I haven't asked for help from my writer buddy yet, but he's there if I need him. I have him because, I do have a problem with dialogue, as I'm not the best at it. He's been in the shoes of writing dialogue and has written a few books. It's my safety net for writing.

Tip 5: Forget the rules of writing

The rules you were taught to follow when writing a story in grade school are useless now. The same goes for all the books that you read to help you learn to write stories. It was a tough lesson for me, I read books, and heard so many rules of writing, that it turned me away for a while. As long as your story's grammatically correct and flows how you want it to, leave it be.

Tag Thursday: This Week I'm thankful for...

Here I am again, tagging about Thanksgiving yet again! I tried my hardest to find a different page to get my tags from, but sigh, I'm using another one of Mama Kat's Thanksgiving Tags, yet again. It wasn't like I planned on using her tag, honestly, I just kept running into the same tags from last week, and I wanted to find one so bad! So yes, it's another Mama Kat Thanksgiving Tag.

1. Name a color you are thankful for.
I have never exactly been thankful for color, I feel thankful for the whole rainbow. I really love the idea of life expressing itself with color.

2. Something your spouse does that you are thankful for.
Cooking, during my off days, he's willing to cook dinner, and not complain about having to cook. I honestly don't know what I'd do without him.

3. Something your kids do that you are thankful for.
They actually think about me when shopping. My 5-year-old loves to pick out something for me to try, or something he thinks that I'd like.

4. A food you are thankful for.
Peanut butter. It's the one food that's naturally gluten-free, that I can do almost anything with. I can make cookies, put some on a tortilla, turn it into a sandwich or eat peanut butter plain. I really love peanut butter!

5. What recent good news are you thankful for?
My latest blood work for my thyroid was normal. It's usually never normal, so to hear that it's normal for once, even if my thyroid is still pretty swollen, I'm thankful that things aren't as scary right now as far as my thyroid is concerned.

6. Name a drink you are thankful for.
Aloe water, it's been one of my favorite drinks for some time now. Some people hate it, while I, on the other hand, love the taste. Even plain aloe water tastes great.

7. Name a restaurant you are thankful for.
I'm not really thankful for any restaurants. I really can't go out to eat anymore since I've gone gluten-free. It's a pain, but in the long run, feeling better instead of being in terrible pain is worth it.

8. Talk about an animal you are thankful for.Freya, I'm thankful to have her in my life. My favorite little Missy has helped me blog a few times. She's cuddled with me when I needed a cuddle, and the only thing she asks for is some food and a pat on the head. Is it okay to call her one of my best friends? Because I believe that she is one of my best friends.

9. Name a beauty product you are thankful for.
Liquid vitamin E. I was told when I was younger that if you applied it to pimples it would heal them. In the last few weeks, I've had a surge of pimples, after applying vitamin e to my pimples, my once annoying and sore pimples, that I'm sure was seen from space are gone.

10. Name a cleaning product you are thankful for.
My Swiffer mop, it's totally worth it. The floors here have a tendency to get dirty quick. My Swiffer mop has saved the day!

11. What social media platform are you thankful for?

Pinterest or WeHeartit, both social media platforms are nice. They've given me ideas for blog posts, and have some interesting photos on them. In all honesty, I'm really thankful for the social media platforms that aren't your run of the mill Facebook type platforms.

12. Tell us why you are thankful for the last person who texted you.
I haven't actually been texted in a long time. I'm hardly ever texed. The last person to message me on Facebook messager was my husband though. It was when he was at work. I hardly ever talk about him, but I'm really thankful for him. He's been there for me, when I'm in pain as well. He'll cook dinner without being asked, and when I least expect it he'll bring me home candy, or something little to say that he's thinking about me.

13. Name a candy you are thankful for.
Reese's, both homemade and store-bought. I remember thinking that chocolate wasn't gluten-free in the past when I went gluten-free. All I could think about was Reese's Cups. I was happy I wasn't snacking, but when I learned that Reese's were indeed gluten-free, according to the wrapper and Celiac's website for safe candy, I was ecstatic.

14. Name an app on your phone that you are thankful for.
Since my phone sucks, and it doesn't like many apps, I'm Thankful for Receipt Hog. What's cooler than an adorable piggy in a snoutfit (seasonal piggie outfits) and scanning your receipt from the store to earn money?

15. What are you looking forward to that you are thankful for?
Going back to school! I decided to wait until after winter, as winter weather in Michigan is brutal and I want to wait until the weather gets warmer, and I know I could make it to school. I'm excited to better my life.

The Story of Gabriel

The holiday season is finally here and it's by far one of the toughest times in my life, it's overwhelming. I get lost in, what could have been, should have been, and saddened by the Christmas memories I didn't have a chance to make. I don't talk about it much, but I am a parent of an angel baby.

Gabriel's back story

It was 2011, that I was given the best news of my life, that I was pregnant after being told that it would be difficult for me to become pregnant. I was so ecstatic when I found out the news. It felt better than winning the lottery. Since I only lived a block away from my doctors, I walked there and speed-walked back. I remember texting my husband on the way home about the big news, he was watching my step daughter at the time and was overwhelmed with emotion.

The day that my ultrasound rolled around I was excited to see this baby that was growing inside of me. I couldn't wait to see this life form, that I thought would eventually be calling me mom, this little baby who needed me and was a miracle.

At the ultrasound, I remember leaving without an ultrasound photo. Part of me was confused to why I didn't get one, but then I thought maybe there was a different time that they did that or maybe the doctor was supposed to give me the photo at a later date. I didn't know how all of these pregnancy ultrasounds were. I was used to the kind of ultrasounds I'd get for cysts, not to see a baby.

There was for sure a baby growing in me. We weren't exactly sure what we were going to name this baby. All I knew was that it needed a strong name, and a name that meant something to me. We had time we had many weeks to go anyway.

About a week after the ultrasound, I got a phone call from my doctor, who explained to me to come in with my husband. It was important that he came with me to this appointment. If there was a time that I was confused it would have been then. I must've had a million little question marks above my head.

I went to the appointment at the doctor's office, she told us to come to sit down by her computer with her so she could show us the ultrasounds. It made a little sense to me, maybe the doctor wanted to talk about my baby before giving me the ultrasound photos.
Image may contain: ultrasound and text
Gabriel
My doctor pointed to the baby's head and mentioned that there was something wrong with it. There was a black spot where the top of his skull was supposed to be. She wasn't sure if it was how the baby was laying or if he had a fatal birth defect known as anencephaly. She let us know that she had referred us to the high-risk doctor to get their opinion.

Luckily I didn't have a chance to think about the high-risk doctor's appointment much, because it was the day after I saw the doctor about the ultrasound results.

The one thing that's tough about being at a high-risk doctor's office, is looking around at all the worried faces, knowing that these parents, maybe given news that's as bad as mine is. You didn't need to hear their story to know that they were in pain, you could just sense it.
Image result for angel baby quotes
I had a million and one questions thrown at me, along with blood work and a blood sugar check even before I went into the cold, clinical ultrasound room. There was the ultrasound machine, and then there was a projector that showed what was on the ultrasound close up.

Like every parent, my husband and I were hoping that it was the way that this baby was laying that made it look like it was missing part of its skull. But unfortunately, our fears were realized that our baby did have anencephaly. Anencephaly is a neural tube disorder that happens when the head end of the neural tube doesn't close. When the neural tube doesn't close, it means there's nothing protecting the brain of the baby.

The doctor explained to us that there were a few options that we had. But the end result was going to be the same either way, that our baby had an illness that was not compatible with life. The options we were given stuck in me like a knife, I could induce or end the pregnancy early or go full term and if this baby did make it past birth I would get to watch it pass away from respiratory distress.
We were set up for an appointment with my OB a few days later so that we could talk about what we planned on doing and so she could answer any questions because the high-risk doctors can be confusing sometimes.

I wished I didn't talk about my plans to people online, because I felt guilt-tripped about my choice. But my choice was my own, and they weren't there in the room when the doctor poked and prodded my baby in my womb, they weren't in my shoes at all.

The choice my husband and I chose was to induce at 15 weeks. I was going to go through labor just like a full-term mother, all except for the pain medication. The doctor opted to give me a pain pump through the labor process because the baby wouldn't be alive anyway.

On August 10, 2011, only 6 days before my birthday I was checked into the local hospital, which is literally right next door to me, to be induced. Waiting in the lobby of the hospital I became numb, sitting in the delivery room, I was number, I could hear women all around me. I hated the feeling that they'd get to bring their baby home and here I was to be induced and I was going to leave the hospital empty-handed.

I hardly remember progressing during the labor process, but I do remember waking up at 5 in the morning to my water breaking and feeling like I had to go to the bathroom really bad. I walked to the bathroom after the nurse came into the room, and remember sitting down on the toilet just to feel the lifeless baby fall out of me, into the thing they had on the toilet.

I yelled for my mom, husband and nurse to come. The nurse clamped the baby's teeny cord, and I went back to my bed. Numb and empty. I didn't want to feel any emotion. I didn't want to even breathe. My life felt like it crumbled right then and there. I felt like the only chance I had to be a parent was done and over with.

My doctor came in a few hours later and asked us if we would like to know the gender of the baby, since she was able to tell. Of course we wanted to know what gender our baby was going to be. Our baby was a boy. We named him Gabriel Jesus.

The time my emotions finally hit me hard was when the nurses brought in a box, with stuff like Gabriel's hospital band, a blanket, the bassinette card, and a card with his footprints on it. It was his teeny-tiny footprints that hit me hard, I remember thinking, he's so teeny.
Image result for angel baby quotes
The following day we had a funeral. Even the second I had to hold him, his body felt so heavy. My heartfelt so heavy. As a moment of mourning, I skipped being vegetarian and when we went out to eat I filled my self up on beef nachos to mend my pain (mending pain with food was an epic failure).

Much to my surprise in October, I was given a huge surprise. One I wouldn't have believed to have happened in a million years. I was going to be a mother once again!

Why the holidays are so tough

People would think that the holidays would get easier now that I have three living children. But it doesn't get better. My birthday is a tough reminder of what happened only a week before then. Then don't even get me started on Christmas, Halloween, and Easter. I always wonder what Gabriel would have been into, as far as little boy toys go. I wonder what he would have wanted to be for Halloween, or how he would be enjoying school. I never even got a chance to hear him cry.

I was once told that the grief and pain will never go away, that you'll think of your angel baby all the time. The only thing that changes is that you learn to hide it easier. I've hidden this pain, and hardly talk about it. But I hoped writing this would help other parents, give them closure and allow Gabriel's story to be told.

Hold up those viral videos you're watching on YouTube may not be what you think

Who loves those YouTube hack videos? You know the ones I'm talking about the ones where people are doing amazing things. While you know at the back of your mind that none of what you just watched makes any sense. You know like using red cabbage to dye clothes. There are no instructions and they just magically dye clothes a deep purple. What gives right?

There is a little secret to these videos that their creators don't want you to know. A little secret that makes tons of sense after you step away from the videos. Most of what they have on their videos don't actually work. It's all for a 10-minute video of things that don't work and that has been repeated more times than anyone could count for their other videos.

I used The King Of Random's video with the plate to prove my point. It's probably the most viral of these hacks that I've seen. I don't know how many times I 've seen it posted on my Facebook, and it'd get me wondering how well adding tape and milk to my plate would fix the broken plate. I almost felt tempted to drop a plate and try the trick my self. But as you watch the video here, my idea of attempting to fix a broken plate would be one of the stupidest ideas that I've tried in my life. Good thing I didn't try it.

I'm okay with these hack videos except for two HUGE things...

I'm fine with people's freedom of expression, and people doing things for entertainment purposes, but they should explain that's what they're doing at the beginning of their videos. Some child is going to try doing one of these hacks for a science fair video and it's not going to work. Or there's going to be some adult assuming what they saw would work, when most of the time the hacks don't work at all. It should be clean-cut and written at the beginning of the end of the video that it doesn't work.

The creators of these videos need to find a different audience. There was once a hack video geared towards children that explained that if you put strawberries in bleach it would turn them white and then you can eat them. Kids shouldn't be the target audience ever.

As a parent, we need to watch what our kids are learning on YouTube and to make sure if they're watching one of these hack videos that they should not attempt to try any of the things they've seen. If you see something that is dangerous geared towards children such as one of these videos report it, please.

What I'm trying to say is to be careful about what YouTube videos you're watching and to take what is happening at face value. I'm sure some of the stuff done in the videos can happen, but most can't. Do your research before attempting anything you see on YouTube

8 Book Related Christmas Gifts for the Bookworms in your life

Buying gifts for bookworms is almost impossible, you never know what to get us. Even with a family full of bookworms, I wouldn't know what to get my other family members when it comes to books. Some of my family is like me and love paperback books, but it's always a hit and miss what paperback books to get someone. Then for the family that loves their e-readers and tablets, I don't know if they'd rather a gift card or whatever.

Maybe the better option is finding something book-related that the bookworm in your life would love. Here were some of the coolest things I found searching the internet that might spark people's ideas for book-related Christmas gifts.

Review of Lady and The Tramp Remake

I jumped on the whole Disney+ bandwagon with everybody else, because I heard they finally made my all-time favorite Disney movie into live-action only for Disney Plus. Never once have I felt like a voodoo doll of feelings when it comes to the live-action version of Lady and The Tramp. There's some anger, some sadness, happy times, and then some acceptance. It's all thrown into the mess of yarn on to the floor.

Great Choice in Actors

I love how great Disney is at picking out a cast. I loved the choices they made for the voice acting. Justin Theroux did great voicing tramp, Tessa Tompson did great as Lady but who I really loved was Kelsey Clemons as Darling. Every voice seemed to fit the character.

You could feel the energy from Tessa through the whole movie. From the excitement to the sad moments. But the moment Lady pretended to have rabies in the alley, I knew that nobody would take Tessa's place as being the new voice actors for Lady.

Some big Details I missed

I hope to not give too much away, but there was one huge detail from the original movie that I wished that they kept in the remake was Si and Am and the, We are Siamese song. To not have it in the remake was a huge let down. I can forgive there being no actual beaver in the movie and just a statue but to take away Si and Am was tough.

The other minor detail that bothered me about the movie was Trusty referring to Ole Reliable as his nose, and not his grandpappy. Regardless, Trusty was the same old dog I loved in the original movie even if Old Reliable isn't the same thing as it was in the past.

Don't compare it to the original movie

The biggest mistake I had going into the whole game was that I wanted to compare the movie to the original version. It's easy to do, there's stuff that they added to the movie that they couldn't before, and they removed some elements from the original storyline, but to compare the movies to each other doesn't work. Modern adaptations aren't made to ruin a movie or take away the key points. The story's still there. Once you look past the movies as their own piece instead of one huge chunk, it makes the movie exactly what it is, a remake, to spawn these generations' love for Lady and the Tramp and to make new memories.

Recommendation and my final Feelings About the movie

If you're a classic Disney, a Lady and The Tramp Fanatic like I am, or a parent wanting to make memories with your kids. This is a family-friendly classic. For a modern remake, they did a lot better than I thought that Disney would have done for this movie.

My Top 5 Places to Earn Money For Christmas

This page includes referral codes.
My last earning money blog post is long past due for an update since some of the pages I mentioned last time have gone under and I have found new websites and places that can help you earn money for the holiday and for any other reason that you can think of.

Vindale is one of the only two survey sites I still use. It's extremely easy and if you're on your computer, they install a bookmark button that usually always has a survey to qualify for. You do need $50 by the end of each pay period to get paid. Earn $5 per referral!

Paid by: Paypal

4. YouGov
YouGov almost always has a survey every single day and you most always qualify for the surveys. The surveys are only 500 to 1,000 For every friend that you have signed up and take 6 surveys, you get 2000 points. You only need 2,3800.
Paid by: Gift cards

3. UpVoice
If you use Facebook on your laptop the majority of the work on Up Voice is done with. The only other thing they ask of you is to log into your Facebook, and social media every day a few times and you earn your points. You get a bonus for joining and earn 70 points a week and you only have to earn 600 points to get a $10 gift card! Easy peasy right?

Paid by: Gift Cards, Digital Visa,
Online Surveys Platform
2. Tell Wutt
By far one of the easiest ways to earn is through Tell Wutt, almost every other day you have the opportunity to earn  90 points for answering some simple multiple-choice questions. Weighing in on the topic does not earn you extra points but is a great way to have your voice heard. A $10 Amazon card is only 4,000 points!

Paid by: Gift cards, and other random rewards
1. Paid View Points
Don't worry about not qualifying for the larger surveys on other sites. Paid View Points usually have a daily survey for $0.10, and a lot of the time they have a second survey for $.10 to $2, depending on the survey. The higher your trust score the likelihood of qualifying for a survey or getting paid more for a survey is higher. Every time your friend cashes out you get 20% of their earnings up to $25.00.

Pay by: Gift Cards, and Paypal

If you're looking for 5 amazing apps you can install on your phone click here. The only app on that list that doesn't work anymore is the WatchBack App, everything else is valid and everything there can earn you money.

Thanksgiving Food Tag: Gluten-Free and Vegetarian Edition

Because Mama Kat loves to tie her writing prompts into her normal everyday life and she's recently asked for people's favorite gluten-free recipes, I knew I had to find a gluten-free tag for this week that is Thanksgiving related. Since you know, she's given me plenty of options for blog posts, it's almost important to do this just for her. So Mama Kat, I love you and everything you do, from my blog to yours. 💓 The Thanksgiving YouTube Blog Tag

1. What is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish?

Cheesy, and garlic baked potatoes. As long as someone is vegetarian, and not vegan and gluten-free, all you need is a slice of cheese and a baked potato, then pop the potato in the microwave for 20 seconds, mix and that's it.

2. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dessert?

It's my favorite dessert every single day. It's my husband's peanut butter, vegan and gluten-free peanut butter cookies.

3. What does your ideal Thanksgiving outfit look like?
I really don't have an ideal outfit. I like anything that's comfortable, even if I am around family. I think this year I'll probably wear my sugar skull leggings and a dress over them.
My latest leggings

4. What is your best Thanksgiving memory?

My best Thanksgiving memory has to be Thanksgiving, that I was pregnant with my last son, and we were out at one of the local buffets for Thanksgiving instead of making something to eat for Thanksgiving Dinner. The food was great, but the memory that sticks with me and makes me laugh is when my son, who was roughly around 18 months threw a cherry tomato off of my plate because he thought it looked like a ball.

5. Least favorite Thanksgiving dish.

I know I'm going to get a bunch of insanity over my response, but my least favorite dish has to be cranberry sauce or anything with cranberries. I've never been a fan of cranberries, ever.

6. Do you have any quirky Thanksgiving traditions?

I do not have anything quirky at all. Nothing that sticks out anyway.

7. Where do you and your family usually celebrate Thanksgiving?

We all usually go to my husband's grandparent's house for Thanksgiving Dinner, if we don't decide to just have Thanksgiving dinner at home. This year I think we're doing it at home being gluten-free and vegetarian. My options are limited.

8. What do you love most about Thanksgiving?

I love spending time with family. The family togetherness warms my cold black heart, and soothes my soul. It's the memories you make during the holidays or any time of year, that last a lifetime.

9. What do you think has changed most since the first Thanksgiving?

It's the people and the way we treat Thanksgiving, at least in my opinion. Once Thanksgiving was to be Thankful for the things we had. They didn't worry about the next day being Black Friday and people becoming crazy for what they want a day later.

10. What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for a lot to be honest. I'm thankful that my health has stayed relatively okay for the past few weeks. I'm thankful that I have a roof over my head, food in my stomach and a family that loves me. But what I'm most thankful for is being alive every single day. Life is short, and it ends without warning.
