Chocolate Bar Review

Today I’ve been thinking about getting me a little perk me up, one that I had set aside as a snacklebox idea. But not for a snacklebox, just because it keeps playing in my mind. It’s the Awake Bar, the one with the own it. Mainly because it’s one of those day’s I’m running ragged. It feels like my energy is draining from me faster than a lightning bolt.

The Awake Bars are a great choice if you’re not into drinking carbonated drinks, and you wanted something that tasted great. I saw these beauties at the store and was a bit iffy about buying one, the price was more than a candy bar, but less than buying a candy bar and a Pepsi or a dreaded energy drink from the front of the store. So what was there to lose? It had caramel in it. This was before I knew I could actually eat Snickers because they’re gluten-free, and needed my caramel and caffeine fix.

Don’t go into buying this bar thinking that caffeine has a taste because it doesn’t. This bar doesn’t taste any different than any other candy bar, it’s just the caffeine that makes it different than your everyday candy bar. It’s pretty obvious that there’s caffeine in these little bars after you eat them.

There’s a warning on the label that says you might want to put socks on a chicken. I wouldn’t attempt it. Don’t do it, but you might just want to because you’re not tired anymore. I do urge against having a bar like this if you are pregnant or sensitive to caffeine. But if you’re an average every day cola drinker like I am, and you are a chocoholic, this is a great alternative.
